Ms. Cox has seventeen years in the profession of education. She has taught 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade. This is her fourteenth year at Greenwood Elementary where she is currently the (K-5th grade) STEM teacher.

Ms. LaKeyshia Cox is originally from Detroit, MI, but she grew up in both Detroit and Birmingham.  She is married and has three daughters & one son who she holds closely to her heart. During Ms. Cox's spare time, she enjoys crafting, participating in church activities, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
